Support Group for Children and Teens who have a Parent Diagnosed with Cancer--Tu Nidito

Tu Nidito offers ongoing support groups for children and teenagers who have a parent diagnosed with cancer or other serious medical condition. Each evening consists of age specific children's groups: little ones: ages 3 & one-half to 7, middles: ages 8 to 12, and teens: ages 13 to 18.The support program is free of charge and Pre-Registration is Required. Facing Forward

Whether you're facing surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy, you'll experience many physical and mental changes. Facing Forward, designed for women undergoing cancer treatment, can help. We'll show you how to manage the physical aspects of treatment to your body, skin, and hair. Plus, we'll introduce you to the resources we have to help you through the challenges ahead. Representatives from the American Society for Hair Loss, Genetic Counseling, Exercise Therapy and the Mind, Body Spirit Program are featured throughout the session.
