Grief Support Groups for Young Adults--Tu Nidito

This is a grief support program specifically designed for young adults ages 18-29.The group provides young adults with a safe and supportive place where they can grieve the death of a loved one and meet others experiencing similar circumstances and issues. All of Tu Niditos support programs are free of charge and Pre-Registration is Required. Complete the online referral form or call the number provided to register.

Facing Forward

Whether you're facing surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy, you'll experience many physical and mental changes. Facing Forward, designed for women undergoing cancer treatment, can help. We'll show you how to manage the physical aspects of treatment to your body, skin, and hair. Plus, we'll introduce you to the resources we have to help you through the challenges ahead. Representatives from the American Society for Hair Loss, Genetic Counseling, Exercise Therapy and the Mind, Body Spirit Program are featured throughout the session.

Living with Cancer Support Group/Writing for Wellness--University of Arizona Cancer Center (North)

The purpose of Living with Cancer Support Group is to provide support for cancer patients and their caregivers through group meetings. ** Writing for Wellness meets the second Thursday of each month in lieu of the regular group. This is a monthly drop-in session for patients and families where they can express themselves through structured writing exercises in a relaxed setting.
